Li Bingsheng was born in 1990. He graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2016 with a master's degree and was awarded the Luo Zhongli Scholarship the same year. His artistic practice is primarily based on in-depth social research, integrating specific public events to extend personal imagination, memory, and experience. Through mediums such as installation, video, and painting, he reveals the tensions and contradictions between different systems. At the same time, he weaves throughout these works issues such as politics, class, law, capital, and ethics, forming a highly personal narrative. His recent work focuses on studying how the culture of "geo-corporations" shapes social landscapes and constructs social systems.
