Artist and director, born in 1982 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, graduated from the China Academy of Fine Arts and now lives and works in Beijing. He carries out his artistic practice through theatre and painting, solving his own psychological problems and adjusting his personal and world viewing perspectives, alleviating the deep sense of inferiority brought about by his physiology and psychology, and repurposing the difficulties and limitations encountered in his actions into a gradual approach to his works. In the realm of contemporary art, he is constantly widening the boundaries and shackles of thinking, transposing ordinary stories of small people and news events into his works, developing a narrative and imagination of the world, and recording the emotions and events that are obscured in this era of social transformation. He has won the Best Work Award at the Tokyo Art Festival (2019) and was shortlisted for the Huayu Youth Award (2016).
